OR18.SP-GW1B.7BO is a Baumer M18 SmartReflect light barrier that works against a fixed background at 55...300 mm instead of a separate reflector. The sensor is taught to the background position and switches when an object interrupts the beam in front of it, at up to 85-90 % of the background distance. Teaching is done with qTeach on the housing or through the external teach input.

OR18.RR-PW1P.71O is a Baumer M18 retro-reflective photo sensor with a polarisation filter and a 3.5 m operating range. The polarisation filter lets the sensor tell the reflector from shiny objects, so glossy packaging or metal parts do not hold the output switched. Sensitivity is set with a 270° potentiometer on the housing.
