IGYX 08P17B3/S35L is a Baumer inductive proximity sensor in an M8 barrel with a 2 mm nominal sensing distance and a PNP normally open (NO) output. The sensing face is flush mountable and the stainless steel housing is 36 mm long.

The Ø 8 mm body and 36 mm length fit the sensor into grippers, indexing tables and other positions where an M12 barrel does not fit. A 3 kHz switching frequency is enough for presence monitoring of fast moving metal parts. Tightening torque on the M8 thread must not exceed 5 Nm, and the switching point drifts by up to ±10 % of Sr across the temperature range, which matters when the target sits close to the 2 mm limit.

Complies with the EMC requirements of EN 60947-5-2:2007.

O300.GR-GW1T.72N is a miniature photoelectric sensor from the Baumer O300 series with background suppression and a 30...300 mm switching distance. The sensor detects an object from the angle of the reflected light, so the object's colour and surface gloss do not move the switching point, while everything beyond the taught distance is ignored.

The sensor suits presence and position checks on conveyors, packaging machines and assembly stations where mounting space is tight and the background sits close behind the object. Sensitivity is set with qTeach by holding a ferromagnetic tool against the housing, so there are no buttons and no mechanical adjusters on the body.

OR18.RR-PW1Z.71OV/0010 is a Baumer M18 retro-reflective photo sensor with a polarisation filter and a 3.5 m operating range. The polarisation filter lets the sensor tell the reflector from shiny objects, so glossy packaging or metal parts do not hold the output switched. It has no sensitivity adjustment, so the setting cannot be changed on the machine.

The short 44.8 mm body with a 100 mm lead fits where there is no room behind the mounting plate for a rear connector and cordset. Pin 2 (white) is a control input. A green LED shows alignment and lens soiling, a yellow LED shows the output state.

O500H.SP-GW1J.PVCK is a Baumer O500 series SmartReflect light barrier in a hygienic 1.4404 (V4A) stainless steel housing. Instead of a reflector the sensor uses the background - the machine surface behind the object - and treats every interruption of the beam between itself and the taught background at 60...600 mm as an object, so no reflector and no receiver has to be mounted on the opposite side.

The sensor suits presence checks in food and beverage production, where the machine is washed with hot pressurised water and where there is no room for a reflector or a receiver opposite the sensor.
