OR18.GP-PV1T.7BO is a Baumer M18 diffuse photo sensor with background suppression, detecting objects at 20...200 mm and ignoring anything beyond the set distance. The switching distance is taught with qTeach instead of a potentiometer, so the setting is repeatable and cannot drift from vibration. A small PinPoint LED light spot allows detection of small parts.

Used for presence detection on conveyors and in assembly stations where a machine frame or wall sits close behind the object. Both outputs are available on one connector (black and white wires), so one sensor gives the controller the light and dark operate signal. A green LED shows power, a yellow LED shows the output state.

OT500.GL-PLPVB.72F is a Baumer OT500 diffuse laser sensor with background suppression that determines distance from the time of flight of the laser pulse. This lets it detect very dark and shiny objects up to 2500 mm away and ignore anything behind the set switching point.
