Air purge collar APC-18, for M18 sensors, stainless steel, 1/8 in hose

APC-18 is a Banner stainless steel collar that threads onto an 18 mm barrel sensor and blows clean air across the sensor face. The positive air pressure keeps water, dust and airborne dirt off the lens and also cools sensors exposed to ambient heat.

The collar has both internal and external M18 thread, so the bracket can hold either the sensor or the collar. Use clean, dry instrument air and teach the sensor while the air is flowing. Not for ultrasonic sensors: the air flow changes the speed of sound and shifts the measurement.
