Photo sensor T18-2VPLP-Q8, polarized retroreflective 6 m, PNP NO/NC, 10-30VDC, M12 4-pin, IP69K

T18-2VPLP-Q8 is a Banner T18-2 series polarized retroreflective photo sensor with a 6 m range to a BRT-84 reflector, in a right-angle 18 mm housing for washdown areas. The polarizing filter rejects light returned by shiny objects, so they break the beam instead of acting as a reflector.

• Output: complementary PNP, Light Operate (black wire) and Dark Operate (white wire), 100 mA total (50 mA above +55 °C)
• Response: 1.5 ms ON, 0.75 ms OFF; repeatability 100 µs
• Supply: 10-30 V DC (10-24 V DC above +55 °C), < 16 mA
• Housing: right-angle, M18x1 thread, PBT polyester, PMMA window, epoxy-encapsulated electronics

Needs a reflector, ordered separately. There is no sensitivity adjustment. A green LED shows power and flashes at a marginal signal; the amber LED shows that the black-wire output is on.
