Photo sensor SLO30VB6Q, slot 30 mm, PNP/NPN, LO/DO, 10-30VDC, M12 5-pin

SLO30VB6Q is a Banner SLO series slot sensor: an infrared 890 nm opposed-mode emitter and receiver across a 30 mm slot, 45 mm deep, in one U-shaped housing. The 2 mm effective beam suits hole, gear-tooth and edge detection without any alignment.

• Slot: 30 mm wide, 45 mm deep; beam 10 mm from the outer edge
• Output: bipolar, one PNP and one NPN, Light or Dark Operate selected by the grey wire, 150 mA each
• Response: 1 ms; repeatability 250 µs
• Supply: 10-30 V DC, 30 mA
• Housing: ABS and polycarbonate, acrylic lenses
• Environment: IP67, NEMA 6, -40...+70 °C
• Connection: integral M12 5-pin male connector

Grey wire to +V gives Dark Operate, to 0 V or open gives Light Operate. There is no sensitivity adjustment. A green LED shows power; the amber LED shows light sensed and flashes at marginal excess gain.
