Safety switch SI-MAGB2SM, magnetic, non-contact, 3 m PVC cable

SI-MAGB2SM is the sensor half of a Banner SI-MAG coded magnetic safety switch: three reed contacts in an epoxy-encapsulated PA 6 housing switch when the SI-MAGB2MM coded magnet comes within 3...14 mm. Monitored by a suitable safety module, one switch and magnet pair can reach Category 4, PL e or SIL CL 3.

• Switching distance: 3...14 mm with SI-MAGB2MM; repeat accuracy 0.1 × switching distance
• Housing: polyamide PA 6, epoxy-encapsulated, 43 x 26 mm
• Connection: 3 m PVC cable, 4 x 26 AWG, flying leads
• Environment: IP67, -25...+70 °C (below -5 °C the cable must be fixed)
• Life: B10d 20 million cycles at 20 % load; mechanical 3 × 10^8 cycles; max. 1 Hz

A working system also needs the SI-MAGB2MM coded magnet and a safety monitoring device, both ordered separately.
