Safety I/O module RSIO-MA4-6SI2SO-C, CIP Safety, 6 safety inputs, 2 OSSD outputs, 7/8" Mini power, IP67

RSIO-MA4-6SI2SO-C is a Banner RSio remote safety I/O block that brings six safety inputs and two OSSD outputs onto a CIP Safety over EtherNet/IP network. Each input port also accepts an In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) chain of up to 32 devices, 192 per block.

• Inputs and outputs: 6 safety input ports, single or dual channel; 2 OSSD outputs, 1 A at 24 V DC, splittable; up to 12 PNP non-safe outputs
• Communication: CIP Safety over EtherNet/IP, 10/100 Mbit/s, two M12 D-coded 4-pin Ethernet ports
• Configuration: IP address on 3 rotary dials; set up from the safety PLC project, Studio 5000 recommended
• Supply: 24 V DC ±20 %, 200 mA without load; 4-pin 7/8" Mini power in and pass-through out, 8 A per circuit
• Housing: glass-filled polyamide, epoxy-encapsulated, 261.9 x 73.9 x 39.4 mm; I/O on M12 A-coded 5-pin
• Environment: IP65, IP67, -25...+70 °C, indoor use only

The block needs a safety PLC with CIP Safety on EtherNet/IP; Banner provides the EDS file and Studio 5000 AOI and UDT files. Input reaction time is 6 ms plus debounce (default 6 ms), output reaction time 5 ms.
