Q4XTULAF500-Q8 is a Banner Q4X series laser distance sensor with a Class 1 visible red 655 nm laser and a 0-10 V analog output over 25-500 mm. It measures dark and shiny targets alike and shows the reading in volts or millimetres on its four-digit display.

• Resolution: < 0.3 mm at 25-100 mm, < 1 mm at 100-300 mm, < 1.75 mm at 300-500 mm; linearity follows the accuracy curve in the manual

The analog span is taught with the push buttons or the remote input, with one-point and two-point teach. The housing withstands aggressive cleaning and typical cutting and lubricating fluids, so it fits washdown food lines and machining centres. Allow 10 minutes of warm-up for best accuracy.
