Fibre optic amplifier Q45BB6FQ5, glass fibre, infrared, PNP/NPN, 10-30VDC, M12 4-pin

Q45BB6FQ5 is a Banner Q45BB6 series photo sensor for glass fibre optics, with an infrared 880 nm light source. The fibres carry the light to and from the sensing point, and the high excess gain lets opposed glass fibres work in hostile environments.

Glass fibre optics are ordered separately; with miniature bifurcated fibres from 0.5 mm bundle diameter it also works in diffuse mode. Sensitivity is set with a multi-turn potentiometer under the sealed cover. Indicators: green for power, red for received signal (pulses with signal strength), amber for output. Optional plug-in modules add output timing or a signal strength display.
