Photo sensor Q2FAP3FF15-2M, fixed field 15 mm, PNP NO, 10-30VDC, 2 m PVC cable, IP65

Q2FAP3FF15-2M is a Banner Q2F series fixed-field photo sensor with a 15 mm cutoff and a visible red beam, in a flat low-profile housing. It detects objects closer than the cutoff and ignores everything beyond it, and the flat housing fits installations where a standard sensor housing does not.

Target colour has little effect on the cutoff: between 90 % and 6 % reflectance it shifts by no more than 0.5 mm. There is no sensitivity adjustment. With a shiny background, tilt the sensor so the reflection is directed away from it. A green LED shows power; the amber LED shows that light is sensed and flashes at a marginal signal.
