Photo sensor PVD100Q, pick-to-light, 100 mm, diffuse 400 mm / retro 2 m, PNP/NPN, 12-30VDC, M12 5-pin

PVD100Q is a Banner PVD series parts verification sensor for pick-to-light bin picking: four visible red beams across a 100 mm array, with green and red job lights on both sides of the housing. It works in diffuse mode, or in retroreflective mode when a reflector is mounted opposite, and adjusts itself without user setup.

• Sensing range: diffuse up to 400 mm (18 % grey card), retroreflective up to 2 m with 25 mm reflective tape
• Output: PNP or NPN and NO or NC selected by DIP switch, 150 mA
• Response: 400 ms, including 100 ms ON- and OFF-delay
• Supply: 12-30 V DC, < 75 mA at 24 V DC
• Housing: black painted aluminium, 30 x 15 mm cross-section, acrylic lenses
• Environment: IP62, NEMA 2, 0...+50 °C
• Connection: 2 m PVC cable with M12 5-pin male connector

The controller switches the green job light through the white wire to show which bin to pick from; a reach into the wrong bin turns the light red and switches the output. DIP switches behind the rubber cover also set steady or flashing job light and the job-light input polarity.
