Photo sensor SME312D, diffuse 380 mm, infrared, PNP + NPN, 10-30VDC, 2 m cable

SME312D is a Banner MINI-BEAM Expert diffuse-mode photo sensor with an infrared 880 nm beam and 380 mm range. Sensitivity is set by TEACH instead of a potentiometer.

• Sensing: diffuse, range 380 mm, infrared 880 nm
• Outputs: bipolar, 1x PNP and 1x NPN, 150 mA each (100 mA at 70 °C); response 500 µs, repeatability 100 µs
• Supply: 10-30VDC, below 45 mA
• Housing: MINI-BEAM, reinforced thermoplastic polyester, encapsulated, M18x1 nose thread with nut
• Environment: IP67, -20...+70 °C
• Connection: 2 m PVC cable, 5 conductors

Set with the push button or the gray remote TEACH wire: the first condition taught becomes Output ON, so Light or Dark Operate is not selected separately. The green indicator flashes when the signal approaches the switching threshold.
