Photo sensor OT500.GL-PLPVB.72F, background suppression, 150...2500mm, PNP, NO/NC, 12-30VDC, M12

OT500.GL-PLPVB.72F is a background suppression photo sensor from the Baumer OT500 series, measuring by time of flight over a 150...2500 mm switching range. A red laser diode (680 nm, laser class 1) forms a point beam focused at 1500 mm, and switching follows the measured distance rather than the amount of reflected light.

The complementary output gives an NO and an NC signal at the same time, so the operating mode need not be chosen before installation. Teaching is done either with qTeach on the housing or through an external wire, which allows the switching distance to be re-taught from the control cabinet. Suppression of reciprocal influence allows several sensors to be mounted side by side.

Vibration and shock resistance tested to IEC 60068-2-6:2008 (10 g, 10...2000 Hz) and IEC 60068-2-27:2009 (50 g / 11 ms).
