Optical fibre PIT46U, plastic, opposed, pair, M2.5/M4 tip, Ø1 mm, 2 m

PIT46U is a Banner pair of individual plastic fibres for opposed mode, one for the emitter and one for the receiver. The tip has an M4 thread stepping down to M2.5.

• Range: DF-G1 820 mm, D10D 1200 mm, D10B 320 mm, D10A 300 mm
• Fibre: Ø1 mm, length 2 m, unterminated; supplied as a pair
• Tip: M2.5 and M4 threaded
• Material: acrylic (PMMA) core, black polyethylene jacket, nickel-plated brass tip
• Bend radius: at least 25 mm
• Temperature: -30...+70 °C

The control ends are unterminated and are cut to length with the PFC-4 cutter supplied with the fibre. The acrylic core is damaged by acids, strong alkalis and solvents; Banner recommends plastic fibres for visible-light sensors only.
