O200.GP-GW1J.72NV/E022_H006 is a Baumer O200 miniature background suppression sensor whose PinPoint LED light is shaped into a line beam. The line covers the full width of an irregular or perforated object, so a part with holes, slots or a ragged edge gives one switching signal instead of a burst of short pulses.

Typical positions are perforated trays, mesh baskets, crates with gaps and bottle cases on a conveyor, where a point beam would drop out each time it passes an opening. Teach-in is by qTeach or line teach and every parameter is also reachable over IO-Link, so a format change can be loaded from the controller instead of being set by hand at the machine.
