Photo sensor FHDK 14P5101/S35A, BGS 20-350mm, 10-30VDC, PNP NO/NC, M8 4-pin, IP67

FHDK 14P5101/S35A is a Baumer standard-size photo sensor with background suppression. It compares where the reflected beam lands on its internal detector, so an object is detected regardless of its colour or surface reflectivity while everything beyond the set distance is ignored.

The sensor suits presence and position control in packaging, assembly and sorting machines where the background sits close to the object and dark or glossy surfaces give a standard diffuse sensor a false reading. A flashing light indicator shows insufficient signal margin or a soiled lens, so alignment and maintenance need no instruments. Reciprocal influence is suppressed, so several sensors can be mounted side by side.
