Photo sensor - receiver LX12RQ, light curtain 295 mm, PNP/NPN, 10-30VDC, 150 mm cable with M12 5-pin

LX12RQ is the receiver of a Banner LX series part-sensing light curtain with a 295 mm array. Paired with the LX12EQ emitter it detects small parts and flat items passing anywhere through the curtain; the outputs conduct while any beam is blocked.

• Sensing range: 150 mm...2 m between emitter and receiver; 9.5 mm minimum object size
• Output: bipolar, one PNP and one NPN, 125 mA each
• Response: 3.2 ms ON, 8.5 ms OFF including 5 ms OFF-delay
• Supply: 10-30 V DC, < 1 W
• Housing: aluminium, die-cast zinc end caps, acrylic window
• Environment: IP65, -20...+70 °C
• Connection: 150 mm PVC cable with M12 5-pin male connector

Connecting the grey wire to 0-2 V DC switches the pair to reduced range (150...600 mm). The emitter and receiver need no synchronisation wire.
