Optical fibre BTA23S, glass, diffuse, bifurcated, angled tip, 5/16-24 UNF, 914 mm

BTA23S is a Banner bifurcated glass fibre for diffuse mode with a 5/16-24 UNF thread and an angled sensing tip, so the beam exits at a right angle to the fibre.

The fibre ends are ground and polished, so the assembly cannot be shortened or spliced. Glass fibres carry infrared as well as visible light; Banner recommends them for IR sensors.
