Optical fibre BT23S, glass, diffuse, bifurcated, 5/16-24 UNF tip, 914 mm

BT23S is a Banner bifurcated glass fibre for diffuse mode: one sensing end both emits and receives light, while the two control ends go to the emitter and receiver of the sensor.

The fibre ends are ground and polished, so the assembly cannot be shortened or spliced. Glass fibres carry infrared as well as visible light; Banner recommends them for IR sensors.
