OR18.RR-PW1Z.71OV/0010 is a Baumer M18 retro-reflective photo sensor with a polarisation filter and a 3.5 m operating range. The polarisation filter lets the sensor tell the reflector from shiny objects, so glossy packaging or metal parts do not hold the output switched. It has no sensitivity adjustment, so the setting cannot be changed on the machine.

The short 44.8 mm body with a 100 mm lead fits where there is no room behind the mounting plate for a rear connector and cordset. Pin 2 (white) is a control input. A green LED shows alignment and lens soiling, a yellow LED shows the output state.
