Q90R2-12040-6KDQ is a Banner Q90R2 series 60 GHz FMCW radar sensor with a ±60° horizontal and ±20° vertical field of view. It measures distance and speed of objects up to 20 m and can be set to detect within a distance or area, ignoring everything beyond, or against a taught reference.

Besides distance, the sensor measures target velocity. Detection is unaffected by wind, fog, steam and temperature changes and resists rain and snow. Configuration is done over IO-Link, with Banner Measurement Sensor Software or with the remote input wire.
