Light curtain - receiver LX12R, 295 mm array, 0.3-2 m, PNP+NPN, 10-30VDC, 2 m cable, IP65

LX12R is the receiver of a Banner LX series part-sensing light curtain with a 295 mm sensing array. Its outputs switch while any part, down to 9.5 mm diameter, passes anywhere through the web of beams from the matching emitter.

• Sensing range: 300 mm to 2 m (reduced range 150-600 mm)
• Minimum object: 9.5 mm diameter
• Output: bipolar, 1 PNP and 1 NPN, 125 mA each; response 3.2 ms ON, 8.5 ms OFF
• Supply: 10-30 V DC, < 1 W
• Housing: aluminium, die-cast zinc end caps, acrylic window

• Connection: 2 m PVC cable, 5 wires

Emitter and receiver need no synchronisation wire. The off-time includes a 5 ms pulse stretcher, so short parts still give a readable output pulse. Not for personnel protection. Best resolution is within the centre 80 % of the sensing range.
