Level switch LBFS-01G21.0, G 1/2" A ISO 228-1 with cooling neck, PNP, max +150°C, M12 connector with LED

LBFS-01G21.0 is a capacitive point level switch from the Baumer CleverLevel series with a G 1/2" A ISO 228-1 process connection and a cooling neck that separates the electronics from the hot medium. Process temperature is therefore permitted up to 150 °C as long as ambient temperature stays below 50 °C.

• Switching: point level detection from the dielectric constant of the medium (DC > 1.5), hysteresis ±1 mm, repeatability ±1 mm
• Output: PNP, NO or NC selectable, 20 mA, response time 0.1 s, adjustable damping 0...10 s
• Supply: 12...30 V DC, current consumption 25 mA (typ.), 50 mA (max.)
• Housing: stainless steel; wetted parts PEEK Natura and AISI 316L (1.4404), Ra ≤ 0.8 µm
• Environment: process temperature -40...150 °C (continuous at ambient below 50 °C), process pressure -1...100 bar, IP67 and IP69K with appropriate cable
• Connection: M12-A, 4-pin, polycarbonate connector with a blue status LED indicator

The switch is intended for hot processes - steam and hot water systems, oil and fuel tanks, CIP solution tanks - where medium temperature exceeds the limits of the standard build. The switching point and the damping are set with Baumer FlexProgram software. Mounting position is free - top, bottom or side.

WHG approval for overfill and leakage control, CCS marine approval. The PEEK material complies with USP Class VI. EMC compliance to EN 61326 (installed in a closed metal tank).
