I/O Hub R95C-8B21-MQ, 8-port discrete, Modbus RTU, 12-30VDC, M12

R95C-8B21-MQ is a Banner R95C series Modbus hub with eight M12 ports, each carrying two discrete channels that can be set as NPN or PNP input or output. Channel states are read and written through Modbus registers over RS-485.

• Ports: 8x M12 female, 2 discrete channels per port, NPN or PNP set per channel; output load 100 mA
• Functions: ON/OFF delay, one-shot, retriggerable one-shot, pulse stretcher, totaliser; count, events per minute and duration per channel
• Communication: Modbus RTU server, RS-485; any port signal can be mirrored to another port or to the host pin 5
• Supply: 12...30 VDC, max. 400 mA; pass-through current max. 500 mA per port
• Housing: over-moulded PVC body, nickel-plated brass coupling nuts, 50x95 mm
• Environment: IP65, IP67, IP68, -40...+70 °C
• Connection: 8x 4-pin M12 female, 1x 5-pin M12 male to the Modbus line

Collects up to 16 discrete signals at the machine onto one Modbus line, for example to a DXMR90 controller. Settings are made with Banner SNAP SIGNAL Configuration Software; M12 cordsets are ordered separately.
