SI-MAGB2MM is the coded magnet for Banner SI-MAGB2 non-contact magnetic safety interlock switches. It is mounted on the moving guard, and the switch changes state when the magnet comes within its switching distance.

The coding is low: any SI-MAGB2 magnet operates any SI-MAGB2 switch, so the magnet and switch should be fixed with tamper-resistant fasteners. Magnets from the older SI-MAG models without the B do not work with SI-MAGB switches.

SI-RF-A2 is the low-profile RFID actuator for Banner SI-RF non-contact safety switches. It carries a fixed safety code that the switch reads when the guard closes.

• Mounting: two Ø 4.3 mm holes

With a Low coded switch any actuator works. A High coded switch accepts only the last taught actuator (up to 12 teach-ins), and a Unique coded switch accepts only the one actuator taught at installation, so a replacement SI-RF-A2 has to be taught in on High models and cannot be used on Unique models without replacing the switch.
