Base unit BL20-E-GW-EN

The BL20-E-GW-EN is a TURCK BL20-E series multiprotocol gateway that connects a BL20 I/O station to a Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET network. Electronics and connection technology are combined in one housing, and the gateway works as the station's head module.

• Communication: Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP (QuickConnect), PROFINET (Fast Start-Up), integrated 10/100 Mbps switch, 2x RJ45
• Power: 24 VDC (18...30 VDC), module bus current ≤200 mA, field supply current up to 8 A, system supply current up to 0.4 A
• Connection: push-in terminals for power
• Indication: LEDs for supply, group and bus error status
• Housing: DIN-rail mounting, includes 2 end brackets and 1 end plate
• Environment: IP20, 0...+55°C

The gateway forms the head of a BL20 station in a control cabinet, collecting distributed I/O signals and passing them to a PLC over an Ethernet network. The station additionally requires matching BL20-E series I/O modules, ordered separately, since the gateway itself does not process I/O signals.
