Controller KM3HCIROD, TC/RTD/mA/V/mV input, 0/4-20mA/0-10V output, relay output, SSR output, 100-240VAC/VDC

KM3HCIROD is an Ascon Tecnologic KM3 panel controller in a 48 x 48 mm (1/16 DIN) case, in the controller version without the optional timer. The main display changes colour between red, green and amber, and control runs as PID single or double action, ON/OFF or ON/OFF with neutral zone, with autotuning, self-tuning and overshoot control.

• Input: thermocouple J, K, S, R, T and infrared J/K, 3-wire Pt100, 2-wire Pt1000, 0/12...60 mV, 0/4...20 mA, 0/1...5 V, 0/2...10 V, plus 1 digital input; accuracy ±0.5% span ±1 digit
• Outputs: OUT1 galvanically isolated 0/4...20 mA or 0/2...10 V (control or retransmission); OUT2 relay SPST-NO 2 A/240 Vac; OUT3 SSR drive, 10.5 V min. at 15 mA
• Terminal 4 programmable: SSR drive, 12 Vdc/20 mA transmitter supply or 2nd digital input
• Functions: 4 setpoints, 3 alarms, working-hours counters, wattmeter; TTL Modbus RTU, 1200...38400 baud
• Supply: 100...240 Vac/Vdc, 7 VA max.
• Case: 48 x 48 mm, panel cut-out 45 x 45 mm, 16 fixed screw terminals 2.5 mm²; IP65 front with gasket, 0...50 °C

The isolated analogue output drives a thyristor power unit or a modulating valve with a continuous signal, or retransmits the measured value or setpoint to a PLC or recorder.
