ABR72L9-RDE2 is a Banner ABR 7000 imager-based barcode reader for 1D and 2D codes, including direct part marked (DPM) codes. It has a 2 MP global-shutter sensor, a 9 mm liquid-lens autofocus and red diffused lighting in two software-configurable sectors.

Factory focus is 100 mm with a horizontal field of view of 95 mm; other distances are set with the autofocus. Power and I/O need a 17-pin M12 cordset, and the Ethernet port a D-coded M12 cable. Two class 2 laser pointers aim the reader, and green/red spots and a beeper show good read and no read.
